Mission Statement
Administrative Systems provides systems implementation, management, and support services to maintain
and enhance the administrative, student, and financial business processes of the University. Industry
best practices, standards, and established methodologies are used to maximize the reliability of the
systems and supporting infrastructure. Rice University’s administrative systems and data are institutional
resources which are used by faculty, students, staff, vendors, as well as various governmental agencies.
