Administrative Systems

All classes are interactive with each participant connecting to their own respective financial and/or human resources information, as approved for their job. The classes are taught on PC laptops in the Administrative Systems Training Room.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Each participant should have an active user ID and password for the Web Applications in order to participate in class. To obtain an account or to have your password reset, please submit a request to admsys@rice.edu or online at Admin Systems Help Center. Small group and special interest classes are also available upon request.




Banner Terminology and Rice Web Applications
This class will combine an introduction to Banner terminology at Rice and financial queries using the EDGAR Rice Web Applications. Special emphasis will be placed on reading and using financial queries to view budget balances for your funds, track vendor payments, and how to use various queries and downloads within the web applications. Both new and experienced Web Applications users are welcome in this class.

Classes will be offered monthly or as needed. Please contact us at admsys@rice.edu to register for a class. Seating in the training room is limited. All classes are held in Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza Rm 2630.03.
